There's No Place Like Home

Remember The Wizard of Oz? Remember the red shoes that Dorothy got from the wicked witch? I think those shoes have found there way to our house - except I don't remember seeing a wicked witch. But we do have two little Munchkins running around.
.
I know I've talked before about Hannah and her "Red Shoes." These red shoes MUST be worn at all times - early in the morning until bedtime. If for some reason she can't wear them (which is only when her p.j.'s are on) it's a full out whine session for "shooooooooes."
.
At the park last week - A brown shirt, pink pants and red shoes. She's starting a new fashion trend.

The other night Hannah had a total dilemma. She and Karys had pulled out the dress up box and Hannah wanted to wear the Cinderella dress up shoes. Well, the problems ensued when she realized she could NOT wear both the dress up shoes and the red shoes. What was the one year old to do? Ah yes! Wear the blue shoes, and hold the red shoes in my hands. What a great problem solver we have.

I went in to Hannah's room to check on her after a "Business Meeting." She was laying on the floor reading a book and her feet were naked. Oh my goodness. Where are the shoes? I found them in the far corner of her room, socks inside. It's as though she was hiding her most precious possession in a very safe place. What are we going to do when she outgrows these shoes?

Not to be out done by her little sister Karys went to get her shoes to have their picture taken. When Hannah realized her shoes had been spotted, she gathered them up as quick as she could. She dropped on and I snapped this picture. I must say I've been a bit tickled about this all day.

There really is "No Place Like Home!"
