Wether you call her Hannah, Nanners, Roo, Nanner-Roo, or any other name, she sure knows how to make you laugh and giggle.
Here are a few pictures into her personality. I'm so thankful God knew what He was doing when He gave us Hannah. I couldn't imagine our lives without her!
This is our time out chair, but Hannah lugs it all over the house to go, "rocky, rocky." Notice her little tongue sticking out. She just started doing that. Priceless!
Notice the time out chair again. Hannah LOVES to put on her necklaces and she'll come up to you and keep repeating, "pooty, pooty." (translation: pretty, pretty). She won't stop talking until we respond, "Oh, look how fancy Hannah is."
Sometime ago, before we had the girls, a friend of mine shared that whenever her girls played dress up, she'd always tell them that they looked so fancy. She'd not say, oh, look how pretty you are. She wanted her girls to know that beauty comes from within. We want the same for our girls. The bible teaches that beauty does not come from "outward adornment" like dressy clothes, or shoes, or jewelry, but form a "gentle and quiet spirit." Although they are as cute as all get out, it's their sweet spirits that God finds beautiful.
Here's my "Runaway Hannah." Hannah is already showing signs of being a little lady. When she needs to attend to her own, umm, business, she runs to her room, shuts the door and takes care of things. You know she's done when she starts knocking on the door. Here she is after another "business meeting."
Sweet, sweet Hannah. We've had a much harder time discipling Hannah at this age than we did Karys. We realize how quickly this time will pass, and know she's just being a kid. But, notice AGAIN the time-out chair. I'm sure this is a foreshadow of things to come. I Love You Nanners!
