I'm simply in awe of what the Lord has done in my life over the last 18 months. I know I've said it before, but I did NOT want to stay home when Hannah was born, but I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that God was telling me to. After a long, long, long journey, life has started to make sense. I'm so thankful we serve a God who "knows the plans" He has for us. What would I have missed if God hadn't of put me here?
Why Am I here?
Because God chose me to guide an almost 3 year old to the point where she can say in her sweetest little voice, "Mommy, don't be scared. God is will be your friend. And if you can't find him, ask Mary. And if you can't find Mary, ask Joseph. And if you can't find Joseph, ask baby Jesus. And if you can't find Jesus, well, you won't have any friends."
Why Am I here?
Because God chose me to be the one that gets to go looking for the really quiet 18 month old, knowing she's somewhere doing something she's not supposed to be doing. And when I find her, those big blue eyes look up at me and she gives me her goofy grin, and it just melts my heart.
Why Am I here?
Because God chose me to be a suitable helper for a man who is truly amazing. He chose me to stand beside, love, support, encourage and help a man who touches so many lives and seeks to know His God more and more. He chose me to be able to laugh til my sides hurt at how incredibly goofy we are, and we wouldn't trade it for the world.
Why Am I here?
Because God chose me to love, nurture and care for 2 of HIS sweetest girls. He trusted me to raise them to know the LOVE of their savior. He's guiding me to raise them to love God and love others.
Why Am I here?
Because God chose me. And I thank HIM everyday for that.
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and NOT to harm you. Plans to give you a HOPE and a future."
